Full turnkey build of 1000sq feet house
I am looking for a builder for a small custom home/cabin project on property I own in Shenandoah, VA 22849, and I wanted to see if this is a project your company would be interested in. I am planning an approximately 900–1,000 sq. ft., 2-bedroom modern cabin/A-frame-style home. I am looking for a full turnkey build, ideally with one contractor managing the project from plans and permitting through completion. I already own the land and have completed a property survey and topographic survey. The property already has a 3 bedroom septic and electric connection. A well needs to be constructed. The property is along the Shenandoah River and has a beautiful river and mountain view. It is within a FEMA flood zone, so the house/foundation will need to be designed and constructed to meet the applicable flood-elevation requirements. For the turnkey project, I am looking for assistance with: * Plans/engineering and permitting * Site preparation * Foundation * Complete house construction * Electrical, plumbing and HVAC * Kitchen and bathrooms * Interior and exterior finishes * Deck/porch * Utility connections and other work necessary to complete the home * Final inspections and certificate of occupancy I am flexible with the exact design, construction method and finishes and would be willing to work with your team to value-engineer the project. My target is to keep the total turnkey construction cost around $300,000, if reasonably possible. At this stage, I am trying to identify a few builders who are interested in the project and obtain comparable ballpark estimates before proceeding with final construction plans.
